3 .� Exempt any structure less than 9 square feet and up to
• two accessory structures that are less than 25 square
feet from being included in the accessory limit to
account for small storage bins or other similar
structures .
4 . Prohibit accessory structures greater than 120 square
feet to be constructed of metal siding, except for
horizontal aluminum siding common on residential
structures, to help ensure that accessory structures
are compatible with residential structures . Also
freestanding metal framed carports or similar
structures would be prohibited on any residential
property, as they are considered incompatible to a
residential neighborhood.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 2004 .
