RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH FRIENDS OF FAITH RETIREMENT
HOMES, INC., LOCATED EAST OF 527 PARK LANE, FOR
THE PURPOSE OF ALLOWING FRIENDS OF FAITH TO
EXPAND THE STORM WATER DETENTION CAPACITY OF
BONTRAGER PARK, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE VICINITY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the Temporary Construction Easement Agreement, dated July 19, 2021,
between Faith Retirement Homes, Inc. and the City of Waterloo, for a 100 by 250 foot easement
area located east of 527 Park lane, is for the purpose of allowing Friends of Faith Retirement
Home Inc., to expand the storm water detention capacity of Bontrager Park, in conjunction with
improvements in the vicinity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Temporary Construction Easement Agreement between Faith
Retirement Homes, Inc. and the City of Waterloo for a 100 by 250 foot easement area located
east of 527 Park lane, for the purpose of allowing Friends of Faith Retirement Home Inc., to
expand the storm water detention capacity of Bontrager Park, in conjunction with improvements
in the vicinity, is accepted and approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July 2021.
