RESOLUTION NO. 2021-483
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM ROGER ROBINSON ON
BEHALF OF CELEBRATION CHURCH, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE CELEBRATION COMMUNITY OUTREACH, TO
BE HELD AT LINCOLN PARK ON JULY 24, 2021, FROM
11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M., INCLUDING A LIVE BAND AND THE
USE OF A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Roger Robinson, on behalf of Celebration Church is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on July 24, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., in conjunction with the
Celebration Community Outreach event, to be held at Lincoln Park, including live band with the
use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Roger Robinson, on behalf of Celebration Church, for
a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 24, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in conjunction
with the Celebration Community Outreach event, to be held at Lincoln Park, including a live
band with the use of a PA system, be and the same is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July 2021.
