RESOLUTION NO. 2021-489
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF
WORK PERFORMED, AND THE PAYMENT OF FINAL
PROJECT RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,206.92 TO
WOODRUFF CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
THE WORK PERFORMED TO HANGAR NO: 4 AT THE
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, VIA IOWA DOT
PROJECT NO. 9-I-200ALO200 AND IOWA DOT CONTRACT
NO. 21613, AND AUTHORIZING THE AIRPORT DIRECTOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with Hangar No. 4 at the Waterloo Regional Airport, Iowa DOT Project No. 9-I-200ALO200 and
Iowa DOT Contract No. 21613, and
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction, has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
June 15, 2020, Resolution No. 2020-441, at a total cost of $105,213.75 and retainage in the
amount of $5,206.92.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Woodruff Construction, at a total cost of $105,213.75, in
conjunction with Hangar No. 4 at the Waterloo Regional Airport, Iowa DOT Project No. 9-I-
200ALO200 and Iowa DOT Contract No. 21613, and release of retainage in the amount of
$5,206.92, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July 2021.
