RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF THE 16 FOOT
PLATTED ALLEY GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF
SHULTZ STREET BETWEEN IDAHO AND WYOMING
STREETS TO DAVID HAGEDORN, SANDRA STURCH AND
DONALD AND SHIRLEY FRANA AS SEPTEMBER 27,
2004 , AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 27th day of September, 2004 , for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate the
16 foot platted alley generally located south of Shultz Street
between Idaho and Wyoming Streets, and legally described as
follows :
The North-South 16 foot wide alley as platted in Block
11 of Blowers Addition that lies North of the North
right-of-way of Blowers Avenue and South of the South
right-of-way of Shultz Street, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and also, sell and convey a portion of vacated 16 foot platted
alley generally located south of Shultz Street, between Idaho and
Wyoming Streets to Sandra Sturch, described as follows :
The West one-half of the vacated North-South 16 foot
wide alley as platted in Block 11 of Blowers Addition
that lies North of the North right-of-way of Blowers
Avenue and South of the South right-of-way of Shultz
Street, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
for $333 . 20, plus costs;
and also, sell and convey a portion of vacated 16 foot platted
alley generally located south of Shultz Street, between Idaho and
Wyoming Streets to David and Ivanell Hagedorn, described as
follows :
The East one-half of the vacated North-South 16 foot
wide alley as platted in Block 11 of Blowers Addition
that lies North of the extension Westerly of the South
line of Lot 8 Block 11 said addition, and South of the
South right-of-way of Shultz Street, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $228 . 48 , plus costs;
and also, sell and convey a portion of vacated 16 foot platted
alley generally located south of Shultz Street, between Idaho and
Wyoming Streets to Donald and Shirley Frana, described as
follows :
