RESOLUTION NO. 2004-636
RESOLUTION APPROVING SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE
"M-2, P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT FOR R & B
ENTERPRISES, LTD. , CORP. FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BISHOP
AVENUE AND MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE, JUST
SOUTH OF THE NORTHEAST INDUSTRIAL PARK FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING 95, 000 SQ. FT. OF NEW
INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "M-2 , P"
Planned Industrial District for R & B Enterprises, LTD, Corp. for
property generally located at the southwest corner of Bishop
Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, just south of the
Northeast Industrial Park for the purpose of constructing 95, 000
sq. ft . of new industrial buildings, and legally described as
follows :
Southeast Northwest Section 20 Township 89 Range 12
except that part contained in the following
description:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northwest 1/
of said Section 20 thence North 89°36 ' 44" East on the
South line of the Northwest 14 of said Section 20 a

WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 20 , 2004 , at
5 : 30 p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "M-2 , P"
Planned Industrial District for R & B Enterprises, LTD, Corp . for
property generally located at the southwest corner of Bishop
Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, just south of the
Northeast Industrial Park, for the purpose of constructing 95, 000
sq. ft . of new industrial buildings, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 2004 , and
approved by the Mayor this 22nd day of September, 2004 .
