Secra,on 1M That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet , .y Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa=, at O�.pHp.m. on the 1st day of November, 2004, for the
purppseH .,olaco,idering and acting upon a proposal to vacate a
utility- 'easement generally located at the northeast corner of
Hammond Avenue and San Marnan Drive, just south of the Menard' s
Lumber Yard and legally described as follows :
A storm sewer easement 20 feet in width, located in the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter, of Section
2 , Township 88, Range 13 , West of the 5th Principal
Meridian, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows along the centerline of said easement;
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Southwest quarter
(SW M) ; thence North 00°00' 00" East along the West line
of said Southwest 1/; a distance of 751 . 92 feet ; thence
North 90°00' 00" East a distance of 33 . 00 feet to the
East right-of-way line of Hammond Avenue which is also
the point of beginning; thence South 89°44 ' 54" East a
distance of 256 . 62 feet; thence South 41°49' 54" East a
distance of 381 . 11 feet to the Northwesterly right-of-
way of East San Marnan Drive, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October, 2004 .
