THEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is planning a holiday parade
in Qcto j nction with the "Downtown Lights the Night" Event on
Noi 27, 2004 , from 5 :45 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. , and

F WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is requesting that they be
auio_rized to conduct said holiday parade .
NO , THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo
toreixWilt annual holiday parade with parade route to begin at
th pih1ic parking area under Hwy. 218 to Mulberry Street,
M1.4bery Street to 5th Street, 5th Street back to public parking
area under Hwy. 218 in conjunction with the "Downtown Lights the
Night" Event on November 27, 2004 , from 5 :45 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. ,
be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of October, 2004 .
