WHEREAS, said fence is proposed to remain in place for
approximately three months while the duration of the building
expansion construction for Pioneer Graphics is expected to be
approximately eight to ten months, and
WHEREAS, the contractor' s representative has agreed to
provide traffic control signing and warning devices for
protection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Rose Companies for variance to
2001 Waterloo Code of Ordinance, Section 7-1-6, Property Owners to
Maintain Rights of Way, to allow a chain link security
construction fence to be placed approximately eight feet onto a
public alley generally located northeast of Pioneer Graphics
expansion and approximately five feet on the northwest on West
Fourth Street right-of-way for approximately three months, be and
the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 2004 .
