RESOLUTION NO. 2004-834
RESOLUTION APPROVING SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO
THE "C-Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICTS FOR
SCHENK ENGINEERING ON BEHALF OF LOCKARD
COMPANIES FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH
OF THE EXISTING TOWER PARK OFFICE COMPLEX FOR
THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING A 20, 000 SQ. FT.
PROFESSIONAL OFFICE BUILDING FOR THE CBE
GROUP, INC. EXPANSION, A 13, 500 SQ. FT. CEDAR
VALLEY MEDICAL SPECIALISTS PROFESSIONAL
BUILDING AND A 6, 000 SQ. FT. BUILDING IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "C-Z"
Conditional Zoning Districts for Schenk Engineering on behalf of
Lockard Companies for property generally located south of the
existing Tower Park office complex for the purpose of developing
a 20, 000 sq. ft . professional office building for the CBE Group,
Inc. expansion, a 13, 500 sq. ft . Cedar Valley Medical Specialists
professional building and a 6, 000 sq. ft. building, and legally
described as follows :
Lots 1, 2, and 3, Tower Park No. 3, City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, State of Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 13, 2004, at
5 : 30 p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "C-Z"
Conditional Zoning Districts for Schenk Engineering on behalf of
Lockard Companies for property generally located south of the
existing Tower Park office complex for the purpose of developing
a 20, 000 sq. ft . professional office building for the CBE Group,
Inc. expansion, a 13, 500 sq. ft. Cedar Valley Medical Specialists
professional building and a 6, 000 sq. ft . building, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 2004, and
approved by the Mayor this 15th day of December, 2004 .
