RESOLUTION NO. 2004-866 RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO DEED OF DEDICATION WITH DEERE & COMPANY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the amendment to the Deed of Dedication with Deere & Company to allow Municipal Electric Utility of Cedar Falls to build a 161, 000 volt transmission line around the west and south side of Cedar Falls and into the southeast corner of Waterloo using bike path property, described as follows: Parcel A: A parcel of land located in the Southwest of Section 1, Township 88 North, Range 14 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa, more particularly described as follows : Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southwest of said Section 1; Thence. South 00° (Degrees) 29' (Minutes) 13" (Seconds) East (Assumed bearing for the purpose of this description) on the East line of the Southwest of said Section 1 a distance of 260 .22 feet to the present North Right-of-Way line of U. S. Highway 20; Thence North 82°12' 21" West on the present North Right-of-Way line of U. S. Highway 20 a distance of 33. 35 feet to the Point of Beginning of the parcel of land herein described; Thence continuing North 82°12' 21" West of the present Right-of-Way line of U. S. Highway 20 a distance of 32 . 59 feet; Thence North 67°40' 10" East a distance of 34 . 74 feet to the present West Right-of-Way line of Dewitt Road; Thence South 00°29' 13" East on the present Right-of-Way line of Dewitt Road a distance of 17 . 62 feet to the Point of Beginning. By survey said parcel contains 284 square feet, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Consideration less than 500 .
