RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
AT THE NORTHERLY END OF PHEASANT LANE BETWEEN
LOTS 151 AND 152 IN GRANGER' S SECOND ADDITION
TO ALLOW FOR CUL DE SAC TO WILLIAM LOONEY FOR
$1 . 00, PLUS COSTS, AS MAY 5, 2003, AT 5 : 30
P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO,
IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 5th day of May, 2003, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey
property generally located at the northerly end of Pheasant Lane
between Lots 151 and 152 in Granger' s Second Addition to allow
for cul de sac to William Looney, and legally described as
follows :
That part of Pheasant Lane as platted in Granger' s
Second Addition, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 151 of said
Granger' s Second Addition; thence North 89°34' 55" East
along the Northerly line of said Granger' s Second
Addition a distance of 60. 00 feet to the Northwest
corner of Lot 152 of said Granger' s Second Addition;
thence South 00°00' 23" East along the Easterly line of
Pheasant Lane a distance of 51 . 44 feet; thence
Southwesterly along a non-tangent curve concave
Southeasterly having a radius of 50 . 00 feet and a long
chord bearing South 50°45' 44" West a distance of 88 . 61
feet to the Westerly line of Pheasant Lane; thence
North 00°00' 23" West along the Westerly line of
Pheasant Lane a distance of 100 . 00 feet to the point of
beginning.
The Westerly line of Pheasant Lane is assumed to bear
North 00°00' 23" West, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa,
for $1 . 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
