H BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:

c}• -TThat the bid of Bituminous Materials & Supply, L. P. of Des
HMoi`-nes, Iowa, in the amount of $152, 700. 00, for products to be
Used in this year' s oiling/sealing program, described in the
plays and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said _project, after public hearing on published notice required
by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2lstday of April, 2003.
