WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Waste Management ''Services of said City to prepare proposed bid document, foLm of 'contract, etc. , for the transfer/processing of recyclable tr.materials, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and 0 rn WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Waste Management Services did file said preliminary bid document, foLm of contract, etc. , for the transfer/processing of recyclable materials, which were preliminarily approved on April 21, 2003, and WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on May 5, 2003, and no objections were made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed bid document, proposed form of contract, etc. , for the transfer/processing of recyclable materials, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed. RESOLUTION NO. 2003-302 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHERLY END OF PHEASANT LANE FOR $1 . 00 AND OTHER VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, PLUS COSTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A DEED FOR SAME. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of real property in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said certain parcel of real property in the sum of $1 . 00 and other valuable consideration, plus costs, has been made by William Looney, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 5, 2003, at 5: 30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal to sell and convey premises owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to William Looney, and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and conveyance should be made as proposed.
