WHEREAS, My Waterloo Days has made written application to the
Ct -ouncil asking that they be authorized and permitted to hold
apeop7, iii the Park on May 29, 2003, People in the Park and Parade
"eta ,May, 3.0, 2003, Dancin' Downtown and Fireworks Extravaganza on
' May 30,- 2003 and Fun Run on May 31, 2003, and
WHEREAS, the parade route will begin on 4th Street and
Jefferson, 4th Street to Mulberry Street, Mulberry Street to 5th
Street and 5th Street to Bluff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA that permission is hereby granted to My
Waterloo Days to hold People in the Park on May 29, 2003, People
in the Park and Parade on May 30, 2003, with route beginning on 4th
Street and Jefferson, 4th Street to Mulberry Street, Mulberry
Street to 5th Street, and 5th Street to Bluff, Dancin' Downtown and
Fireworks Extravaganza on May 30, 2003 and Fun Run on May 31, 2003
and request to close numerous streets for the events, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 2003.
