NOTICE OF HEARING.
r� WfEREAS, - th'e Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 16th day of June, 2003, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Schenk Engineering on behalf of Joe Minard to rezone from "R-1"
Residence District and "C-2" Commercial District to "R-1, R-P"
Planned Residence District property generally located north of
the University Avenue Hy-Vee and south of Acorn Lane for the
purpose of residential development, and legally described as
follows:
A part of Lot 1, Centennial Second Addition, Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of said Lot 1,
which is the Westerly right-of-way line of Progress
Avenue; thence South 00°17' 11" West along said Westerly
right-of-way line and the Easterly line of said Lot 1 a
distance of 224 . 94 feet; thence North 89°26' 18" West a
distance of 799. 93 feet to the Westerly line of said
Lot 1; thence North 00°17' 11" East along the Westerly
line of said Lot 1 a distance of 224 . 94 feet to the
Northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence South 89°26' 18"
East along the Northerly line of said Lot 1 a distance
of 799. 93 feet to the point of beginning.
The Easterly line of Lot 1 is assumed to bear South
00°17' 11" West, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 2003 .
