O Ott CONGRESS FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE,

a E4 c) o WHEREAS, National Cattle Congress is having an outdoor
oc 'ert on the Outdoor Flat Track at the National Cattle
o t Cn4ress, and in case of rain, the concert to be moved to either
�- Pullin-Simonsen Arena or McElroy, and

p WHEREAS, said outdoor concert activity exceeds the limits of
Ifie Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said National Cattle Congress has made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No.
3094, effective June 20, 2003, from 7:00 p.m. to 11 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of National Cattle Congress for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, in conjunction
with an outdoor concert on the Outdoor Flat Track at the National
Cattle Congress, and in case of rain, the concert to be moved to
either Pullin-Simonsen Arena or McElroy, on June 20, 2003, from
7 :00 p.m. to 11: 00 p.m. be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of June, 2003.
