HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003-421-06.16.2003 hlti i CC ,, Qs gesolution prepared by Nancy Eckert, City Clerk, 715 Mulberry E4 , Waterloo, Iowa. co tr, (V- t11 RESOLUTION NO. 2003-421 C-+ Otis © o Q RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING $1. 25 s CDcu m OF THE $1 . 50 SURCHARGE PER ROUND OF GOLF TO BE USED FOR MAINTENANCE OF THE GOLF COURSES. o ,4 WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Council has imposed a $1 . 50 o barge per round of golf played at all municipal golf &i9, ses, and ti tg M 1-1 m WHEREAS, the City Council has designated that said $1 . 50 pq,rharge per round of golf played at all municipal golf courses b gpsed for capital improvements to municipal golf courses only, and cr, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is aware of the need for funds to improve municipal golf courses in the City of Waterloo, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has included capital improvements to municipal golf courses in its Capital Improvements Program, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, desires to designate $1 . 25 of the $1 . 50 surcharge per round of golf played at all municipal golf courses for maintenance of the golf courses in the Leisure Services Golf Budget, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, desires to designate 25 cents of the $1.50 surcharge per round of golf played at all municipal golf courses to be used for capital improvements to municipal golf courses only. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that $1 .25 of the $1 .50 surcharge per round of golf played at all municipal golf courses be and the same hereby designated for maintenance of all municipal golf courses. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that 25 cents of the $1 . 50 surcharge per round of golf played at all municipal golf courses be and the same hereby designated for capital improvements to municipal golf courses only.
