RESOLUTION NO. 2003-433
RESOLUTION APPROVING SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO
THE "R-3,R-P" PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT FOR
JOHN EVELAND FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
NEAR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF WEST 4TH STREET
AND ANSBOROUGH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "R-3, R-P"
Planned Residence District for John Eveland for property
generally located near the northwest corner of West 4t Street
and Ansborough Avenue for the purpose of development of senior
housing and legally described as follows:
Unplatted Waterloo West part Northeast Southeast
Section 33 Township 89 Range 13 described as follows :
Beginning at Southwest corner Byrnbrae Second Addition
said point also lying on West line East 25 acres said
Northeast Southeast said point also lying on North line
South acres said East 25 acres thence East along
South line said Byrnbrae Second Addition 755. 85 feet
thence South 122. 9 feet to point of curvature of a
5712. 55 foot radius curve concave Easterly with a long
chord of 247 . 05 feet which bears South 2°18' 50" East
thence Southerly along said curve 247 .07 feet to point
of tangency thence South 3°36' 10" East 79. 61 feet to
South line said Northeast Southeast thence West 765.25
feet to West line said 25 acres thence North 449.45 feet
to point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 23, 2003, at 5: 30
p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "R-3,R-
P" Planned Residence District for John Eveland for property
generally located near the northwest corner of West 4t Street
and Ansborough Avenue for the purpose of development of senior
housing, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 2003, and approved
by the Mayor this 25th day of June, 2003.
