That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 11th day of August, 2003, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and convey right-of-way generally located along the north side of property located at 24 Van Buren Street to Betty L. Hodges, and legally described as follows : A 30 foot wide strip of right-of-way in McFarlane' s Subdivision in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows: The one foot strip of land platted as Lot 1 Block 1 of McFarlane' s Subdivision; also the 29 foot wide right- of-way (Drive) lying East of a line drawn from the Northwest corner of Lot 1 Block 2 McFarlane' s to the Southwest corner Lot 1 Block 1 said addition, and West of a line drawn from the Northeast corner of Lot 4 Block 2 said addition to the Southeast corner of Lot 1 Block 1 said addition, subject to a public utility easement over, under and above the above described property, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; for $75. 00, plus costs. Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of July, 2003. John .
