• E-1 n' WHEREAS, United Sisters of Black Hawk County is having a Fall

ce/ledom Festival at Sullivan Park on September 6, 2003 from 11:00

1-4 > WHEREAS, said Fall Freedom Festival will include games, food
[Adt gospel singing which will exceed the limits of the Noise
tTnance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
Q WHEREAS, said United Sisters of Black Hawk County has made
formal application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance,
Ordinance No. 3094, effective September 6, 2003 from 11:00 a.m. to
7:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of the United Sisters of Black
Hawk County for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance
in conjunction with gospel singing and other activities at
Sullivan Park on September 6, 2003 from 11 :00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ,
be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 2003.
