RESOLUTION NO. 2021-514
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR WORK PERFORMED
BY CAHOY PUMP SERVICE, INC., OF SUMNER, IOWA, FOR
A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $234,318.77, AND
RELEASE OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,715.94,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FINAL CLARIFIER NO. 3
DEWATERING WELLS PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1032.
WHEREAS, Cahoy Pump Service, Inc., of Sumner, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the Final Clarifier No. 3 Dewatering Wells Project, Contract No. 1032, and
WHEREAS, Cahoy Pump Service, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
September 14, 2020, Resolution No. 2020-697, at an estimated cost of $238,515.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Cahoy Pump Service, Inc., at a total cost of $234,318.77, and
release of retainage in the amount of $11,715.94, in conjunction with the Final Clarifier No. 3
Dewatering Wells Project, Contract No. 1032, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August 2021.
