RESOLUTION NO. 2021-521 RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 16, 2021, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY C 10 INVESTMENTS, LLC, FOR THE REZONE OF APPROXIMATELY SIX (6) ACRES FROM "R-3" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "S-1" SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT, LOCATED AT 2101 KIMBALL AVENUE, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW COMMERCIAL CENTER, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of August 2021, to approve the request by C 10 Investments, LLC, for the rezone of approximately six (6) acres from "R-3" Multiple Residence District to "S-1" Shopping Center District, located at 2101 Kimball Avenue, for construction of a new commercial center. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August 2021.
