RESOLUTION NO. 2021-507
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM SARA BLAKE ON BEHALF OF
THE SOUTHDALE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE NATIONAL NIGHT OUT BLOCK
PARTY, TO BE HELD ON VIOLET DRIVE BETWEEN DAHLIA
BOULEVARD AND DAISY DRIVE, ON AUGUST 7, 2021, FROM
4:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., INCLUDING STREET CLOSURES, A LIVE
BAND AND THE USE OF A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the Sara Blake, on behalf of the Southdale Neighborhood Association, has
requested to hold the National Night Out block party August 7, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.,
to be held on Violet Drive between Dahlia Boulevard and Daisy Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Sara Blake, on behalf of the Southdale Neighborhood
Association, to hold the National Night Out block party August 7, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00
p.m., to be held on Violet Drive between Dahlia Boulevard and Daisy Drive, including street
closures, a live band and the use of a PA system, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August 2021.
