RESOLUTION NO. 2021-508
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM DENA SHEPPARD, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH A BIRTHDAY PARTY, TO BE HELD AT
1824 W. 7TH STREET ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2021, FROM 7:30
P.M. - 10:30 P.M., INCLUDING A LIVE DJ AND THE USE OF A
PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Dena Sheppard is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
September 18, 2021, from 7:30 p.m. — 10:30 p.m., to be held at 1824 W. 7th Street, including a
live DJ and use of a PA system.
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Dena Sheppard for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094,
Noise Ordinance, in conjunction with a birthday party, to be held at 1824 W. 7th Street, on
September 18, 2021, from 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., including a live DJ and the use of a PA
system, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August 2021.
