WHEREAS, ,>Hthe Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 15th day of September, 2003,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Ray Baldwin to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "R-1"
Residential District property generally located near the
intersection of Highway 63 and Airline Highway for construction
of a single family home and legally described as follows:
Unplatted Waterloo East part Southwest Section 1
Township 89 Range 13 described as follows: Commencing
at Southwest corner said Southwest thence East along
South line said Southwest 369 feet thence North
parallel West line said Southwest 44 . 56 feet to
northerly right-of-way line East Airline Highway and
point of beginning thence South 84°27' 30" East 125. 52
feet to point 33 feet normally distant said South line
on said northerly right-of-way line thence South
89°44' 30" East along said northerly right-of-way line
273. 37 feet thence North 329. 92 feet thence West 398 . 30
feet thence South 318 . 36 feet to point of beginning,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
