H ©o tzl © s tCO RESOLUTION NO. 2003-591 o x RESOLUTION APPROVING ALCOHOL POLICY TO ALLOW • < ti RENTERS TO SERVE WINE, BEER AND CHAMPAGNE AT EVENTS HELD AT THE CENTER FOR THE ARTS. ° S (A) 0txlE4 - WHEREAS, the Cultural & Arts Commission has requested that trmers be allowed to serve wine, beer and champagne at events t1zi at the Center For the Arts subject to the following 8nWtions: � S H o 1. Renters must sign a hold-harmless agreement. 2. Renters must provide a certificate of insurance in the amount of $2 million dollars, naming the city as an additional insured. 3. Renters must provide a guard, secured through the Police Department. 4. Only wine, beer, champagne may be served, and must be served in glasses. 5. No kegs will be allowed. 6. No smoking. 7. No sales of alcohol. 8. Increased room fees to cover additional clean-up. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Alcohol Policy to allow renters to serve wine, beer and champagne at events held at the Center For The Arts, be and the same is hereby approved.
