RESOLUTION NO. 2003-667 RESOLUTION APPROVING MINOR SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "M-2, P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO ALLOW US CELLULAR TO ERECT A CELLULAR TOWER ON DEERE AND COMPANY PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3500 EAST DONALD STREET. WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a Minor Site Plan Amendment to the "M- 2, P" Planned Industrial District to allow US Cellular to erect a cellular tower on Deere and Company property located at 3500 East Donald Street, legally described as follows: Unplatted Waterloo East a tract of land in Northeast Northeast Section 17 Township 89 Range 12 and Section 16 Township 89 Range 12 within the following described boundaries beginning at a point described as being 60 feet South and 260 feet West of Northeast corner Section 17 thence Easterly along a line parallel with Northerly line of Section 16 and 17 to a point 60 feet South and 500 feet West of North corner said Section 16 thence South at right angle 350 feet thence East at right angle 450 feet thence Southeasterly to point on Easterly line of West of East that is 2400 feet South of North line said Section thence right 90 degrees 980 feet more or less thence left 90 degrees 420 feet more or less thence right 90 degrees 580 feet thence left 90 degrees 1230 feet thence bearing left 30 degrees 690 feet to point described as 960 feet West and 370 feet North of Southeast corner said Section thence South 337 feet to right-of-way of Newell Street thence West along right-of-way of Newell Street 1950 feet thence North 440 feet thence bearing left 34 degrees to a point described as being 1020 feet South of point of beginning thence North to point of beginning also spur track right-of-way running Northwesterly from CN&W Railroad main line in East Northeast Section 21 Township 89 Range 12, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said Minor Site Plan Amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a public hearing, and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said Minor Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
