TO ASSIST �-+ s o o; to (z) INANCING OF ROOSEVELT GRADE SCHOOL CO o ENOVATIONS IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO. -i H C} I---t co Cl) CO E-f o 3iniE'd 4%, the City of Waterloo, Iowa has been informed by Jay crre c ' Pa A$ Roosevelt Housing Partners L.P. that a Low-Income iouglg `aK Credit Application will be filed with the Iowa Finance Authority for the development of affordable rental housing consisting of a 21-unit senior housing complex to be located at 200 East Arlington, Waterloo, Iowa with a legal description as follows: Gates Park Place Block 2, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. WHEREAS, this housing project will contain twenty-one (21) units, and WHEREAS, the units will be targeted toward elderly, and WHEREAS, the project will be an adaptive reuse or rehabilitation, and WHEREAS, Mr. Trevor has requested local assistance through a Tax Abatement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO CITY COUNCIL, that we support and approve the development of the aforesaid housing in our community, subject to city ordinances and the building permit process. This resolution is effective until November 3, 2004 . In the event that any of the characteristics mentioned above should change prior to the issuance of a building permit, this resolution is null and void.
