RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF THE AMERICAN
CANCER SOCIETY RELAY FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

C.) WHEREAS, the American Cancer Society Relay is having singing
and • band activity at Waterloo Memorial Stadium Central Middle

WHEREAS, said singing and band activity exceeds the limits of
the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said American Cancer Society Relay has made formal
application for a variance effective May 10, 2002 from 7 :00 p.m.
to 11 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of the American Cancer Society
Relay for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance in
conjunction with singing and band activity at Waterloo Memorial
Stadium-Central Middle School on May 10, 2002 from 7 : 00 p.m. to
11: 00 p.m. be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of January, 2002.
