RESOLUTION NO. 2002-31
RESOLUTION APPROVING MINOR SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
FOR LINCOLN SAVINGS BANK FOR PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED NEAR THE TOWER PARK OFFICE
COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a minor site plan amendment for Lincoln
Savings Bank to allow a temporary building and ATM Machine
facility prior to construction of a new facility, generally
located near the Tower Park office complex and legally described
as follow:
Lot No. 2 in Tower Park, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, except the following described parcel:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot No. 2;
thence North 89°03' 48" West along the North line of said
Lot 92. 00 feet; thence South 00°56' 12" West 100. 00 feet;
thence South 89°03' 48" East 92 . 00 feet to the East line
of said Lot No. 2; thence North 00°56' 12" East along the
East line of said Lot 100. 00 feet to the point of
beginning;
and,
A part of the vacated part of West San Marnan Drive
right-of-way adjacent to said Lot No. 2, in the
Northeast Quarter of Section No. 9, Township No. 88
North, Range No. 13 West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot No. 2;
thence North 00°56' 12" East 20. 00 feet; thence South
89°03' 48" East parallel with the North line of said Lot
No. 2 a distance of 258 . 97 feet; thence South 00°56' 12"
West 20. 00 feet to the North line of said Lot No. 2;
thence North 89°03' 48" West along the North line of said
Lot No. 2 a distance of 258. 97 feet to the point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said minor site
plan amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
site plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor site plan amendment for
Lincoln Savings Bank to allow a temporary building and ATM machine
facility prior to construction of a new facility, for property
generally located near the Tower Park office complex, be and the
same is hereby approved.
