{7,1 WHEREAS, the March of Dimes Birth Defect Foundation is
planning to hold its annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica on April
Q 20 2002 starting at 9: 00 a.m. and ending around 11 : 30 a.m. , and

WHEREAS, the March of Dimes Birth Defect Foundation has
""requested that its annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica to be held on
April 20, 2002 be allowed to have the race route to begin and end
at Central Middle School Stadium.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the March of Dimes
Birth Defect Foundation to hold annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica
on April 20, 2002 starting at 9: 00 a.m. and ending around 11 : 30
a.m. , with the race route to begin and end at Central Middle
School Stadium, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of February, 2002 .
