w prdcess of reviewing portions of the City of Waterloo Zoning
Ordirirce as it pertains to the placement of half-way houses in
-residential zoning classifications, and

WHEREAS, on January 28, 2002, the City Council of the City of
Waterloo adopted Resolution No. 2002-53 placing a sixty day
moratorium on placement of half-way houses in residential zoning
classificationS, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo believes
that a moratorium should be extended for an additional sixty days,
until said amendments have been presented to, and adopted by, the
City Council of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that a moratorium is hereby extended on placement
of half-way houses in residential zoning classifications for an
additional sixty days from the date of enactment of this
Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of March, 2002 .
