RESOLUTION NO. 2002-220
E--1 RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE FROM
NORTHWEST SPORTS, INC. TO BUCKS BASEBALL INC.
("I " WHEREAS, there is currently in effect a five (5) year Lease

Agreement between the City of Waterloo, by and through the Leisure
1 Services Board formally known as the Waterloo Park Commission, and
Porthwest Sports, Inc. , effective September 1, 1998 and ending
CD AUgust 31, 2003; and

WHEREAS, Northwest Sports, Inc. has now assigned the Lease to
pucks Baseball, Inc. ; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on behalf of the Leisure Services Board, to
approve the assignment of the Lease from Northwest Sports, Inc. to
Bucks Baseball, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the assignment of the Lease from Northwest
Sports, Inc. , to Bucks Baseball, Inc. is approved in its
entireity.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 2002.
