o 31, 2002 THROUGH JUNE 1, 2002.

m ' G3 1HEREAS, My Waterloo Days has made written application to the
CtrrCouncil asking that they be authorized and permitted to hold
anntial'My Waterloo Days Parade on Friday, May 31, 2002, and

'WHEREAS, the parade route will begin on West 4th and Jefferson
Streets to Mulberry Street and down 5th Street to Bluff Street, and
requires that Park, 4th and 5th Streets from Bluff to Mulberry be
closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the My Waterloo Days Parade route beginning on
West 4th and Jefferson Streets to Mulberry Street and down 5th
Street to Bluff Street and closing Park, 4th and 5th Streets from
Bluff to Mulberry on Friday, May 31, 2002, be and the same is
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that East 4th Street from Franklin to Mulberry with
no parking on the park side of Mulberry on May 30 and 31, 2002 in
conjunction with People in the Park; close the 4th Street Bridge
from Sycamore to Commercial Streets, Cedar Street from Park
Avenue to 5th Street during Dancin' Downtown and close 6th Street
Bridge during Fireworks Display; and to hold Fun Run on June 1,
2002, with race route to begin and end at Kingsley Elementary
School, be and the same are herby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of May, 2002.
