RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
BETWEEN WEST SHAULIS ROAD AND PRESCOTT' S DRIVE
TO PINNACLE PROPERTIES, FOR $851 .30 PLUS
COSTS, AS JUNE 3, 2002, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of June, 2002, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey property
generally located between West Shaulis Road and Prescott' s Drive
owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to Pinnacle Properties, and
legally described as follows:
A survey of Lot "E", a part of Tract "A" of Southland Park
Subdivision in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of Lot One Hundred
Seven (107) of Southland Park Replat of Southland Park
Subdivision in the City of Waterloo, Iowa; thence South
69°37' 55" West One Hundred Nineteen and Seventy-nine
Hundredths (119. 79) feet along the Southerly line of said
Lot One Hundred Seven (107) to the Southwesterly corner of
said lot; thence South 00°00' 00" West Eighty-five and
Twenty-one Hundredths (85.21) feet along the Easterly line
of Tract "B" of said Subdivision; thence North 58°18' 37"
East One Hundred Fifty-two and Twenty-two Hundredths
(152. 22) feet, to a point on an extension of the Easterly
Line of said Lot One Hundred Seven (107) ; thence North
20°08' 47" West Fifty and no Hundredths (50. 00) feet to the
point of beginning, containing Eight Thousand Five Hundred
Thirteen and no Hundredths (8, 513. 0) Square Feet or Zero
and One Hundred Ninety-five Thousandths (0. 195) Acres,
subject to the city' s retention of a permanent drainage
easement over, under and above the following described
property, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
A drainage easement across part of Lot "E" of a part of
Tract "A" of Southland Park Subdivision in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows:
Beginning at a found iron pin at the Southwest Corner of
Lot "E" of Tract "A"; thence North 58°18' 37" East along the
Southeasterly line of said Lot "E" Twenty-eight and Fifty-
five hundredths (28 . 55) feet; thence North 90°00' 00" West
Twenty-four and Thirty Hundredths (24 . 30) feet to the
Westerly line of said Lot "E"; thence South 00°00' 00" West
Fifteen and no Hundredths (15. 00) feet to the point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
for $851 . 30, plus costs.
