RESOLUTION NO. 2002-269 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF JIIB, L.C. TO REZONE FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "M-1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 1901 WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONVERTING A DOT BUILDING INTO AN OFFICE AND COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL WAREHOUSING FACILITY, AS JUNE 10, 2002, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 10th day of June, 2002, for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of JIIB, L.C. to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "M-1" Light Industrial District property generally located at 1901 West Ridgeway Avenue for the purpose of converting a DOT building into an office and commercial and industrial warehousing facility, legally described as follows: A parcel of land located in part of the Northwest of the Fractional Northwest of Section 5, Township 88 North, Range 13 West of the 5th Principal Meridian in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa as shown on Plat of Survey attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof. Parcel of land described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Fractional Northwest 1,1 of said Section 5; thence, on an assumed bearing, North 90°00' 00" East 660. 00 feet along the north line of the Fractional Northwest of said Section 5; thence South 00°02' 30" West 135. 00 feet to the existing Southerly right of way line of West Ridgeway Avenue in the City of Waterloo, the point of beginning; thence North 90°00' 00" East 319. 90 feet along said existing Southerly right of way line; thence, continuing along said existing southerly right of way line, North 00°00' 00" East 35. 00 feet; thence, continuing along said existing Southerly right of way line, North 90°00' 00" East 160. 13 feet; thence South 00°02' 30" West 400. 00 feet; thence South 90°00' 00" West 480. 00 feet; thence North 00°02' 30" East 365. 00 feet to the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Said parcel contains 180, 804 square feet.
