RESOLUTION NO. 2002-307
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION
OF 16-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT AND DEDICATION OF
NEW 16-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT GENERALLY
LOCATED AT 965 HOME PLAZA AS JUNE 10, 2002,
AT 5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 10th day of June, 2002, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate 16-foot utility
easement generally located at 965 Home Plaza, described as
follows:
A 16 foot wide drainage and utility easement located in
Lot 2, Home Plaza Addition, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 2; thence
South 00°00' 00" West along the West line of said Lot 2 a
distance of 95. 63 feet; thence North 90°00' 00" East a
distance of 78 . 82 feet to the point of beginning; thence
North 90°00' 00" East a distance of 131 . 93 feet; thence
North 00°00' 00" East a distance of 34 . 00 feet; thence
North 90°00' 00" East a distance of 16. 00 feet; thence
South 00°00' 00" West a distance of 50. 00 feet; thence
South 90°00' 00" West a distance of 141. 10 feet; thence
North 23°07' 18" West a distance of 17 . 40 feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
The West line of said Lot 2 is assumed to bear South
00°00' 00" West;
and to dedicate 16-foot utility easement generally located at 965
Home Plaza, described as follows:
A 16.00 foot wide drainage and utility easement located
in Lot 2, Home Plaza Addition, Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 2; thence
South 00°00' 00" West along the West line of said Lot 2 a
distance of 95. 63 feet; thence North 90°00' 00" East a
distance of 78 . 82 feet to the point of beginning; thence
North 43°45' 23" East a distance of 69.22 feet; thence
North 90°00' 00" East a distance of 84 . 06 feet; thence
South 00°00' 00" East a distance of 16. 00 feet; thence
South 90°00' 00" West a distance of 77 .23 feet; thence
South 43°45' 23" West a distance of 69.22 feet; thence
North 23°07' 18" West a distance of 17 . 40 feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
The West line of said Lot 2 is assumed to bear South
00°00' 00" West.
