RESOLUTION NO. 2002-341
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF A 20 FOOT BY
130 FOOT PORTION OF THE NORTH-SOUTH IMPROVED
ALLEY GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG THE 400 BLOCK OF
BRATNOBER STREET TO ST. VINCENT DE PAUL AS
JULY 1, 2002, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 1st day of July, 2002, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate the 20 foot by
130 foot portion of the north-south improved alley generally
located along the 400 block of Bratnober Street to St. Vincent De
Paul, and legally described as follows:
Vacate that part of the North-South twenty foot (20' )
wide alley right-of-way as platted in Block 11 of Ricker
and Bratnober Land Company Addition that lies South of a
line drawn from the Northeast corner of Lot 5 Block 11
said addition to the Northwest corner of Lot 6 Block 11
said addition, and North of a line that is the Westerly
extension of the South line of Lot 6 Block 11 said
addition, subject to the city' s retention of a utility
easement over, under and above the above described
property, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
and also, sell and convey a 20 x 130 foot portion of the north-
south improved alley generally located along the 400 block of
Bratnober street to St. Vincent De Paul , described as follows :
that part of the vacated North-South twenty foot ( 20 ' )

for $1. 00, plus costs.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
