RESOLUTION NO. 2002-432
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
FOR THE "M-2, P" PLANNED HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT
THE WATERLOO AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment for the "M-2, P"
Planned Heavy Industrial District for property generally located
at the Waterloo Airport and legally described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo East all except railroad Section 5
Township 89 Range 13 and except all South of railroad
in Southwest 1/4 and except all South of railroad in
Southeast lying North of a line 126 feet North of
South line of Section and except that part platted to
MidPort America Park Plat No. 1; and
Unplatted Waterloo East all Section 4 Township 89 Range
13 except East 30 acres Northeast Northeast and except
South 3/4 East 1/4 of Section and except commencing at
Southeast corner Southwest Southwest thence North 364
feet thence Northwesterly 916. 39 feet along railroad
thence South 386. 64 feet thence East 905 . 7 feet to
beginning and except railroad also except commencing at
point on North line of right-of-way IC Railroad 60 feet
East of center line of access road to airport thence
North 400 feet East 500 feet thence South to North line
right-of-way IC Railroad thence West to beginning and
except beginning 60 feet North of Southwest corner
Section 4 thence North 399. 17 feet to South line IC
Railroad right-of-way thence Easterly 216. 25 feet
thence Southerly 394 . 1 feet thence West 224 . 33 feet to
beginning and except beginning at a point 33 feet South
of Northwest corner Northeast fractional 1/4 thence
South 555 feet thence Southeasterly to a point 833 feet
South of North line and 319 feet East of West line said
Northeast 1/4 thence East to East line Northwest 1/4
Northeast 1/4 thence North to a point 33 feet South of
North line of said Section thence West to point of
beginning and except Southeast 1/4 Southwest 1/4 lying
South of IC Railroad and except Highway Section 4
Township 89 Range 13 except that part of above
described lying within following beginning at
intersection Northerly right-of-way line West Airline
Highway and Westerly right-of-way line Wagner Road
thence North 600 feet thence West 3300 feet thence
South to Northerly right-of-way line ICG Railroad
thence Southeasterly along Northerly railroad right-of-
way line to Northerly right-of-way line West Airline
Highway thence Easterly along said right-of-way line to
point of beginning and except that part platted to
MidPort American Park Plat No. 1, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 22, 2002, at 5: 30
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and

nWHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site

ti ` IM W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITE OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the site plan amendment to the "M-
s 2, PrPlanned Heavy Industrial District for the Waterloo Airport
4Commission, for property generally located at the Waterloo
o Airport, be and the same is hereby approved.
