RESOLUTION APPROVING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
AWARD FROM THE U. S . DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
• ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION (EDA) AND
.4(4 DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
1-4 MAYOR.

- - BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
t:tba.E the agreement dated July 22, 2002, in the amount of
c, $1, 00p, 000. 00 in conjunction with the Rath Neighborhood and
A57ivettront Renaissance Project, with City match to be
recon'struction of Sycamore Street from East 11th Street to East

Street at an estimated cost of $800, 000. 00 and the Iowa
ErBroWrifields grant in the amount of $400, 000, by and between the
U. S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration
(EDA) , and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of uly, 2002 .
