RESOLUTION NO. 2002-557
RESOLUTION APPROVING MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR PROPOSED WALGREEN STORE TO BE
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
KIMBALL AVENUE AND RIDGEWAY AVENUE IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a Minor Site Plan Amendment for
proposed Walgreen store to be generally located at the southwest
corner of Kimball Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue, legally described
as follows :
Parcel 1 :
The North Two Hundred (200) feet of the East two Hundred
(200) feet of Lot No. Twenty-three (23) , in Southgate, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Parcel 2 :
Lot 23 in Southgate, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, except the West 100 feet thereof, except the
North 200 feet thereof, and except the East 50 feet thereof,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Parcel 3 :
The East 50 feet of the South 150 feet of Lot 23 , Southgate
Addition, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
Parcel 4 :
Non-exclusive access easement as contained in Easement,
dated October 10 , 1962 , filed of record November 2 , 1962 , in
Book 144 of Miscellaneous, on page 39, in the office of the
County Recorder of the Black Hawk County, Iowa-Subject to
public right of way, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said Minor Site
Plan amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said Minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that Minor Site Plan Amendment for
proposed Walgreen store to be generally located at the southwest
corner of Kimball Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue, be and the same is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 2002 , and
approved by the Mayor this 18th day of September, 2002 .
