171 RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO ACE

9 M CBE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:

tD" s -That the bid of Ace Refrigeration of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in
(the ,amount of $63, 733 . 00, for the Evaporative Condenser and
LCotrol System - Young Arena, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
lam; be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 2002 .
