RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
AT 301 RALSTON ROAD (KREIG SCHOOL) TO GATES
PARK YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE, INC. , FOR $1 . 00
AND OTHER VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, PLUS COSTS,
AS DECEMBER 2 , 2002 , AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5 :30 p.m. on the 2nd day of December, 2002 , for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and
convey property generally located at 301 Ralston Road (Kreig
School) , to Gates Park Youth Basketball League, Inc . , and legally
described as follows :
That part of the West One-Half (W%) of Section Twelve
(12) , Township Eighty-nine North (T89N) , Range Thirteen
(R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows :
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the North Eight
acres (N8ac . ) of the South One-Half (S%) of the
Southwest Quarter (SW'A) of the Northwest (NW%) of said
Section Twelve (12) ; thence N89°59' Ol" W Six Hundred
Sixty-one and Eleven Hundredths (661 . 11) feet
(previously described as West, Six Hundred Sixty (660)
feet) ; thence SOO°43 ' 45"E (previously described as
South parallel with the East line of the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section) Two
Hundred Thirty-five and Forty-nine Hundredths (235 . 49)
feet to the point of beginning; thence N89°07' S1"E Four
Hundred Six and Sixty-three Hundredths (406 . 63) feet;
thence S00°48 ' 47"E One Hundred Thirty-five and Ninety-
three Hundredths (135 . 93) feet; thence S89°09' 16"W One
Hundred Sixty-one and Ninety-two Hundredths (161 . 92)
feet ; thence S00°50 ' 22"E Two Hundred Fifty-nine and
Five Tenths (259 . 50) feet to the North line of Ralston
Road; thence S89°59' S0"W along said North line Two
Hundred Forty-five (245 . 00) feet to a point which is
Six Hundred (660) feet West of the East line of the
Northwest Quarter (NW%) of the Southwest Quarter (SW%)
of said Section; thence North along a line parallel
with the East line of the Southwest Quarter (SW%) of
the Northwest Quarter (NW1A) of said Section and with
the East line of the Northwest Quarter (NW1/) of the
Southwest Quarter (SW1/) of said Section to the point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.

Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
