--BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:

0 Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall theet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 6th day of January, 2003, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and
convey city-owned property generally located near the
intersection of Jefferson Street and West llth Street to Richard
Brown, and legally described as follows:
A parcel of land located in part of Lot 1 in Block 43
in the Original Plat on the west side of the Cedar
River in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa
described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of said Lot 1;
thence S40°51;eW, 141 . 1 ft . along the northwesterly
line of said Lot 1; thence S48°53' E, 44 . 0 ft . along the
southwesterly line of said Lot 1; thence N43°58;-l' E,
15. 5 ft . , N47°37;l' E, 98 . 7 ft. ; thence N42°15' E, 28 . 6
ft . ; thence N49°57 'W, 57 . 2 ft . to the Point of
Beginning, containing 7249 sq. ft. , more or less, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
for $7, 250. 00, plus costs.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of December, 2002 .
