RESOLUTION NO. 2001-7
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "R-3,R-P" SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR MARICLE FARM PLANNED URBAN
DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOW DEVELOPMENT OF FOUR LARGE
RESIDENTIAL LOTS.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "R-3,R-P" site plan amendment for Maricle
Farm Planned Urban Development to allow development of four large
residential lots and legally described as follow:
All that part of the Northwest Quarter of Section No.
Eighteen (18) , Township No. Eighty-eight (88) North,
Range No. Twelve (12) West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, lying
Northeasterly of the Northeasterly line of Highway No.
218 as established by Warranty Deed filed June 17, 1952
and recorded in 111 Land Deeds 229:
Except the North Three Hundred Twenty-five (325) feet
thereof;
and,
Except that part bounded as follows :
Beginning at a point on the South line of the County
Road which is Twenty-one Hundred Forty-eight (2148) feet
West and Fifty (50) feet South of the Northeast corner
of the Northwest Quarter of said Section; thence South
00° East One Hundred Eighty (180) feet; thence South 90°
East Four Hundred Eight-four (484) feet; thence South
00°6' West Ninety-five (95) feet; thence South 36°54'
East Three Hundred Thirty-three and Six Tenths (333 . 6)
feet; thence South 53°33' West five Hundred Nineteen and
Fifty-five Hundredths (519. 55) feet; thence North 36°3'
West Nine Hundred Thirty-seven (937) feet along the
Northeasterly right of way line of U. S. Highway No. 218;
thence North 30°43' West One Hundred Eight and One Tenth
(108 . 1) feet along said Northeasterly right of way line;
thence North 90° East Three Hundred Forty and Six Tenths
(340 . 6) feet along the South line of the County Road to
the point of beginning, except all legal highways, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a pubic nearing wo ielc or January 8, 2001, at 5: 30
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site plan
amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIPY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "R-3,R-P" site plan amendment for
Maricle FarM Planned Urban Development to allow development of four
large residential lots, be and the same is hereby approved.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of January, 2001, and approved
by the Mayor this 10th day of January, 2001 .
