RESOLUTION NO. 2001-13
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement dated January 8, 2001 for a Physical
Infrastructure Assistance Program Agreement for a forgivable loan
in the amount of Two Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2, 200, 000. 00) to aid in site remediation for the John Deere
Waterloo Works Project in downtown Waterloo, by and between Iowa
Department of Economic Development and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of January, 2001 .
