RESOLUTION NO. 2000-58 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF 2 . 0 ACRES OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF RANCHERO ROAD FOR $1, 000. 00 AND 0. 02 ACRES OF PROPERTY TO GENE AND MARCIA MEYER AS MARCH 12, 2001, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 12th day of March, 2001, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey 2 . 0 acres of property generally located south of Ranchero Road in conjunction with Sergeant Road/Cedar Prairie Trail Connection project, to Gene and Marcia Meyer, legally described as follows; Part of the former Chicago and North Western Transportation Company right-of-way located in the Northwest and the Northeast i, Section 12, Township 88 North, Range 14 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast k of said Section 12; thence South 00040' 33" East a distance of 33. 00 feet to a point on the present South right-of-way line of Ranchero Road, said point being the point of beginning of the parcel herein described; thence North 89009' 55" East on the present South right-of-way line of Ranchero Road a distance of 52.53 feet to the point of intersection of the South right-of-way line of Ranchero Road with the Northeast right- of-way line of said former transportation company; thence South 46022' 49" East on the Northeast right-of-way line of said former transportation company a distance of 943.30 feet to the Easterly line of parcel recorded in land deed book 571 page 502, Black Hawk County Recorder' s office; thence South 89007' 09" West on said Easterly line a distance of 85.78 feet; thence South 00040' 33" East on said Easterly line a distance of 55.71 feet to the intersection of said Easterly line with the Southwest right-of-way line of said former transportation company; thence North 46022' 49" West on the Southwest right-of-way line of said former transportation company a distance of 1023.01 feet to the present South right-of-way line of Ranchero Road; thence North 89011' 48" East on the present South right-of-way line of Ranchero Road a distance of 90.31 feet to the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. The North line of the Northeast of said Section 12 is assumed to bear North 89009' 55" East for the purpose of this description.
