RESOLUTION NO. 2001-62
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF ALLEY
ABUTTING PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 1010
BROADWAY STREET TO FEREDAY HEATING COMPANY AS
MARCH 12, 2001, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 12th day of March, 2001, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and convey
alley abutting property generally located at 1010 Broadway Street
to Fereday Heating Company, and legally described as follows :
The 20' wide alley as platted in Block 3 of Burnside
Plat that lies Southeasterly of the West line of Block 3
extended North to the railroad right-of-way, and
Northwesterly of the East line of Lot 3 Block 3 said
addition extended North to the railroad right-of-way,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $75, 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of February, 2001 .
