RESOLUTION NO. 2001-127 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY ABUTTING PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 710 BROADWAY STREET TO NEW HOPE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH AS MAY 14, 2001, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 14th day of May, 2001, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and convey a portion of the north-south alley abutting property generally located at 710 Broadway Street to the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church to allow for a day care facility with child play area, and legally described as follows: That part of the 20 foot wide alley as platted in Block 3 of Ricker and Bratnober Land Company Addition that lies South of a line from the Northeast corner of Lot 6 Block 3 said addition to the Northwest corner of Lot 7 Block 3 said addition, and North of the South line of Lot 7 Block 3 extended Westerly to its intersection with Lot 4 Block 3 said addition, subject to the City' s retention of permanent public easement over, under and above the described parcel, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; for $100. 00, plus costs. Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of April, 2001 .
